Very HandyWhile this is a very simple design it does the job very well. Once you have it on the stand it is much easier to navigate the hammock if you lift and pull vs. trying to push it. My wife can move the hammock on her own now. Nice product.

Very Excellent Hammock StandAfter assembling the stand I was very pleased with my decision to purchase this one. I also ordered an extension thinking that for my Mayan family hammock I would need to make it longer. But to my surprise the hammock fit perfectly without the extension and because the height of the stand can be adjusted pretty high you could put a longer hammock in it because of this. Very heavy steel well enameled excellent workmanship and very easy to assemble. ***** - Definitely a five star purchase.

Comfy colorful hammockMy family and I have owned this hammock for a couple of years and think it's fabulous. The cheerful colors brighten up any backyard or cabin setting and remind me of lazy days spent in the carribean. Without the spreader bar the hammock is less tipsy which is a definite plus in my book. I also really like the fact it's made out of 100% cotton.

ExcellentThis was a gift for my daughter-in-law and she absolutely loves it. Since it's so portable she takes it with her for camping trips or just visiting at a friends. It's comfortable and lightweight. Great product!

Great Handmade HammockI puchased this a couple weeks ago via their own site [...] Their order form is a little quirky but it gets the job done. Plus ordering directly from them saved me like 10 bucks for some reason. Really comfortable hammock I keep telling people its like a full-body sling. Extremely fast shipping I highly recommend buying.

Very Comfy!A great hammock! The antique brown color is perfect because it doesn't show dirt or marks as easilly as a white hammock would. It's a very comfortable hammock and fits very well on a hammock stand. My husband loved this as a birthday gift! If you are expecting rain do take it inside as it takes quite awhile to dry out.

Woot.I hung this hammock in my room and LOVE it. Bright somewhat hideous colors only give the hammock character and make it more awesome. Super comfy the fabric isn't coarse but is strong. Hammock big enough for 2 but the perfect size for 1. However it doesn't come with the pillow as pictured. Still worth every cent.

Well MadeStrong strap good heavy hardware. If you use it (or anything else) on pine trees you'll have to clean it up.
Regarding another reviewer's comment: no you're not stuck with too long or too short a tail. Here's what to do.
Begin by holding the loop on the tree and wind around the tree until you get to the ring end.
Stop at the "too long" setting pass the ring through the loop and continue around the tree IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. At some point you'll have the length you need - however it will probably be pointing in a wrong direction. Note where it's pointing!
Now undo it all and begin again but this time start the loop end at a point on the tree where after you've wrapped it all the ring end will point in your desired direction (toward the hammock).
If you think you'll use the same tree again mark the starting point with a small notch on the tree and hanging the hammock will be a snap.

Perfect Hammock Perfect PriceI got this hammock to replace a much bigger rope-type. I like this one better. I use it on a big frame and it fits well. This is a one-person hammock. So far the colors are bright (used one season) still but it is almost always in shade or filtered sun. I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived--I wasn't expecting such a nice item for the price.

Not durable but nice enough while it lasts Bought this hammock in 2006 -- it lasted through one summer before completely falling apart halfway through the second. (A rope or two or three shredded the first summer too which we were able to tie the ends together to keep using the hammock.)
Then again with the price I didn't expect much more.
I noticed right out of the box that the hammock rope wasn't as substantial as the hammocks I have previously owned -- the strands were softer -- less like rope and more like cording (if that makes any sense...)
We have a metal hammock stand; one would barely clear the ground when lying on the hammock due to the looseness of the weave.
Note that it is called a "Two Person" hammock and that we did subject it to the full two-person load (and occasionally a small child thrown in for good measure.) Plus we left it outside exposed to the elements all summer. But all our previous hammocks have taken this abuse and lasted an average of three years.
Figure that with the cheaper price it's still an okay buy. But now that I'm in the market again for a hammock I think I'm going to spend a little more money and hopefully get something more durable.

Wonderful way to keep cool in the pool or lakeI was lucky enough to try this product at a friend's pool one day and decided I had to get one for our summer vacation on a lake. It is very easy to get on unlike many other pool floats and actually cradles you slightly below the surface of the water allowing you to remain cool in the sun. Only the outside inflates so even without a pump it is easy to inflate. The center of the float is mesh so aboout 3 inches of water envelopes you when you get in. It worked just as well on a lake as in the pool and is highly recommended for comfort- I had to fight the entire family for possession! Another great feature is that once the air is out if folds up flat for easy carrying and storage. I am going to order more for my family's vacation next year....

Awesome tree friendly straps.I bought the PRO straps for my hammock and they rock. At first I was confused since the straps say they are rated for 200lbs but the picture shown says they should carry 400lbs. As my hammock can hold 400 lbs I wanted that same capacity from my straps. A quick call to the manufacturer clarified that the capacity is per strap and the total load can indeed be 400 lbs. They just haven't updated their photos of the product. Using these is a snap they haven't scared or chafed the bark on the trees and they did hold both myself and my husband just fine. They even survived a 6 year old using the hammock for a swing and slide set all weekend. MUCH easier than saggy ropes that cut into the poor trees. They are light and much smaller than the picture makes them look.
